About this file

This is a Visit Authorization Request (VAR) guidance document for NCTAMS LANT updated April 2024, which outlines the requirements for submitting clearance information to access facilities. The document specifies that clearance information should be submitted via DISS to SMO# 702725, with technical POC information and visit purpose included.

The guidance details 14 required elements for VARs submitted on company letterhead, including company information, visitor details, clearance data, and government sponsor endorsements. Additional requirements are specified for Non-US Citizens/Foreign Persons, including passport information and residency documentation. The document also provides definitions for "Foreign Person" and "Foreign National." This guidance appears to be related to a contract opportunity for DDC system repairs at Dam Neck Annex Buildings, though the VAR requirements are general security protocols for facility access rather than specific to the DDC work scope.
