About this file
This document provides a summary of the Local Compensation Plan for USAID implementing partners in Uganda along with details of a related federal contract opportunity. The Local Compensation Plan summary outlines 13 salary grades for local staff in Uganda, with the senior level Grade 13 having an annual base salary range of 272,629,051 to 408,943,592 Ugandan Shillings. Each grade contains 12 steps with incremental increases specified. The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from USAID/Uganda seeking proposals for a five-year cost-plus-fixed-fee term contract valued between $35-40 million to improve government accountability, public participation, and reduce corruption through the Strengthening Systems and Public Accountability Activity. Offerors should propose realistic costs aligned with their proposed approach to achieve results.
