About this file
This document is an Exhibit Line Item Numbers (ELINs) attachment for a federal contract opportunity related to electric utility tree trimming and ground clearing services. The attachment details comprehensive pricing and service specifications for tree pruning, tree and stump removal, undergrowth clearing, vine removal, and herbicide application across multiple tree size categories, ranging from 3-inch to 48-inch caliper trees. The contract covers five option periods with consistent line items (A700-A719, B700-B719, etc.) for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and several other naval installations in Virginia, including Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, Oceana Naval Air Station, and Yorktown Weapons Station.
Key service elements include directional pruning methods with specific clearance requirements (20-foot vertical and 15-foot lateral), debris removal on the same or next work day, and emergency response capabilities. The contractor must provide detailed scheduling within five working days of receiving a task order and complete work within specified timeframes depending on the scope. Unique line items cover specialized services like ground-up tree pruning, stump removal, herbicide application, and an emergency response option. The Materials and Equipment and Composite Hour Labor Rate line items are designated as "MUST BE NEGOTIATED BY KO" (Contracting Officer), indicating flexibility in final pricing determination. The solicitation number is N4008524R2861, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
