About this file
Attachment I is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification form for the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Request for Proposals to lease holding facilities at Grosvenor Center and Radnor Center in Maryland. The form requires offerors to declare whether they qualify as a minority business enterprise, defined as a business at least 50 percent owned by minority group members or, for publicly owned businesses, at least 51 percent owned by minority stockholders. Offerors must identify their minority status by checking the appropriate box corresponding to their classification: African American, Asian American, Hispanic, Native American, Female, Disabled, or None.
This certification document serves as a compliance and eligibility determination tool for MCPS's facility leasing initiative. The form does not specify pricing, contract terms, or other substantive bid requirements but functions as a mandatory disclosure statement to support the agency's diversity and inclusion objectives in vendor selection.
