About this file
This document is Attachment I from the Colorado Office of Information Technology (OIT) Request for Proposal (RFP), providing detailed guidelines for deliverables in a broadband telecommunications service contract. The attachment serves as a comprehensive example template illustrating the extensive documentation required for three different network connectivity scenarios: fiber optic installation, wireless solution, and cellular tower location. For each scenario, the document outlines specific requirements including location details, circuit types, bandwidth specifications, equipment listings, last-mile connectivity information, path diversity solutions, circuit diagrams, and provider information.
The examples are designed to help vendors understand the precise level of detail expected in their proposals, with each scenario including specific acceptance criteria such as equipment completeness, specification accuracy, model number verification, provider reputation, timeline realism, and cost transparency. The document emphasizes that these examples are not exhaustive but serve as a guide, encouraging vendors to provide comprehensive documentation that allows OIT to fully evaluate proposed solutions. The goal is to ensure that the selected vendor can effectively manage and optimize the State of Colorado's broadband telecommunications infrastructure with detailed, verifiable information about network connectivity, equipment, providers, and service level agreements.
