About this file
This document is an Application Requirements & Application Form for the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Chan Medical School's Request for Application (RFA) to develop a Qualified Consultant List for ForHealth Consulting Strategic Initiatives. The RFA seeks to prequalify individuals and small consulting firms (with ten or fewer employees) to provide consulting services across various positions including Executive Advisor, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and General Consultant. Bidders can apply for multiple positions and must submit comprehensive documentation through the UMass BuyWays Portal, including forms, a detailed application, resumes, references, and specialty area expertise descriptions.
The RFA allows bidders to propose hourly rates for different consulting positions, with UMass Chan reserving the right to negotiate rates. Consultants can specialize in areas such as Information Technology, Business/Product Development, Policy Analysis, Data Analytics, Strategic Operations, Population Health, Evaluation Design, and several other strategic and technical domains. The application requires detailed disclosures about the bidder's organizational history, government experience, client portfolio, and insurance coverage. Successful applicants will be added to a pre-qualified consultant pool from which UMass Chan can select service providers for specific strategic initiatives, with the expectation that consultants will maintain high professional standards and avoid conflicts of interest.
