About this file
This document is the Commonwealth's response to vendors' written questions regarding RFP 758 2300000080 for a kiosk system and related services. The requested products and services include indoor kiosks to be installed at various Kentucky Tourism visitor centers, with 24/7 access for installers. The Commonwealth will provide the vendor with a list of approved lodging options and the current Kentucky Tourism logo for branding. The kiosks will be hard-wired with Internet access, located in climate-controlled environments. The vendor is required to submit only one proposal, with no alternates allowed. The Commonwealth intends to proceed with the project as soon as possible after award. The Commonwealth may consider allowing outside advertising or content sharing on the kiosk network, and the vendor will need to integrate with the Commonwealth's current Simpleview content management system.
Regarding pricing, the Commonwealth has not provided an estimated traffic count for the visitor centers. The vendor may propose a revenue share model for any outside advertising shown on the kiosks. The Commonwealth is also open to discussing revenue sharing for content provided by local destination marketing organizations.
