About this file
This is a Vendor's Questionnaire for Technical Evaluation that outlines requirements for a mobile MRI services contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs CTVHCS facility. The document contains two main sections: operational requirements and technologist qualifications.
The operational requirements specify that the contractor must provide a mobile 1.5T MRI unit (5 years or newer) with service hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Key requirements include maintaining the unit with factory-trained personnel, providing 2-hour response time for service calls, supplying a replacement trailer if repairs exceed two working days, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and manufacturer specifications. For technologist qualifications, the contractor must provide staff with current ARRT Radiologic Technologist licenses, maintain documentation of credentials and competencies, submit regular competency checklists (at least every 12 months), and provide proof of continuing education for the past two years. The document explicitly prohibits services being provided under supervision of a Qualified Medical Physicist.
