About this file

This is a Task Description Document (TDD) template required for proposal submissions to the ARPA-H Emerging Health Innovators (EHI) Initiative solicitation (ARPA-H-SOL-26-150). The template provides a standardized format for proposers to detail their proposed work and approach to fulfill the objectives outlined in the solicitation topic.

The TDD template requires proposers to structure their response by including: a project description with objectives and background; detailed task descriptions organized in a duplicated table format for each task; identification of the responsible organization(s) and key personnel executing the work; specific work location(s); technical deliverables with associated intellectual property assertions; designation of whether human subjects or animal research will be involved; and measurable technical milestones with observable metrics and completion events. For each milestone, proposers must identify significant risks and planned mitigations. The template allows for unlimited page length and instructs proposers to exclude proprietary information. This template is applicable to the ARPA-H EHI Initiative, which seeks to engage early-career investigators through competitive proposals for cutting-edge biomedical, health, and community-engaged research and innovation, with multiple Other Transaction awards anticipated from this solicitation managed by the National Institutes of Health under the Department of Health and Human Services.
