About this file
This is a Pass/Fail Requirements attachment for RFB 758 2300000421 issued by the Commonwealth for a Commercial Vehicle Driver Examiner position. The document outlines mandatory qualification criteria that applicants must meet and submit with their online bid response. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of two years of experience within the past five years as a licensed Class A or B CDL operator in good standing. Additionally, applicants claiming prior experience as a CDL examiner must document that they performed work substantially similar to the current position requirements for at least one year and must clearly state the exact nature and location of such experience. The Commonwealth reserves the right to request documentation verifying claimed experience and years of service.
The attachment also requires applicants to provide documentation of completion of formal training or certifications in professional commercial vehicle operations, safety and compliance, including certifications from other states and commercial interstate carriers. Applicants may submit documentation of multiple certifications. The final pass/fail requirement addresses availability and scheduling flexibility, with preference given to applicants who can commit to availability during normal Monday through Friday business hours for scheduled examinations or who demonstrate the ability to rearrange schedules to accommodate examination scheduling. Applicants must affirm their availability or scheduling flexibility through signature and date. The document emphasizes that insufficient or lacking documentation may result in no contract award.
