About this file

This document is an Attachment C Special Terms and Conditions file for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) related to a snowplow equipment contract. The document does not specify precise quantities or exact project details, but appears to be part of a solicitation for grader plows, wings, and lift groups. The contract term is at least one year, with a pricing guarantee for the first year and potential price adjustments thereafter, requiring 30-days' advance notice and documentation supporting any proposed price changes.

The contract includes comprehensive insurance requirements, mandating that the contractor maintain workers' compensation insurance and commercial general liability insurance with specific coverage limits. Key financial terms include a provision that UDOT does not guarantee to purchase any specific quantity of goods, and the estimated quantities are for proposing purposes only. The document emphasizes vendor compliance requirements such as non-collusion certification, inspection protocols, potential goods rejection procedures, and immediate notification requirements for any company contact changes. Invoicing guidelines are detailed, with requirements for timely, itemized billing and specific submission procedures to the ordering region.

UDOT may elect to terminate a contract immediately with a Contractor who is subsequently determined to be subject to such restrictions without liability to UDOT.
