About this file
This document is Attachment C - Performance Standards and Guarantees for the Lawn Care Services - Tampa Group contract (DMS-23/24-079) issued by the Florida Department of Management Services, Division of Real Estate Development and Management. The contract requires the selected contractor to provide weekly mowing, trimming and edging, debris removal, weed control and fertilizer application, mulching, and irrigation system maintenance for multiple state-owned facilities in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. Performance standards are defined for each service, with minimum required levels and penalties for noncompliance. The contract term is not specified, but monthly reporting and acknowledgement by the Facility Manager is required.
The performance standards document outlines the specific requirements and service levels the contractor must meet, as well as the financial penalties that will be applied for deficiencies. A rating system of "Good, Fair, and Poor" is used to evaluate the contractor's performance, with a minimum "Good" rating required to avoid invoice deductions ranging from 10-35% for the associated facility. The contractor must employ or supervise licensed pesticide applicators and maintain mulch depth in landscaped areas.
