About this file
This document is Attachment C - Performance Standards and Guarantees for a Lawn Care Services contract (DMS-25/26-009), detailing performance requirements and measurement standards for a landscaping service provider. The document outlines specific deliverables including mowing, trimming and edging, debris removal, weed control/fertilization, herbicide applications, mulching, irrigation maintenance, and miscellaneous landscape services. The contract requires monthly and semi-annual service performance across various landscaping tasks, with grassy areas to be mowed weekly from May through October and biweekly from November through April.
The performance standards include precise specifications for each service area, with a rating system of Good (1), Fair (2), and Poor (3) that determines potential invoice deductions for non-compliance. For most service categories, non-compliance results in invoice deductions ranging from 5% to 35%, depending on the specific service. The Facility Manager must complete and submit a monthly report (Attachment B - Monthly Summary Report) to the Contract Manager, documenting the contractor's performance. If a contractor receives a "Fair" rating and fails to correct deficiencies the following month, they will automatically receive a "Poor" rating, triggering invoice deductions as specified in the attachment.
