About this file
This document is Attachment C - Performance Standards and Guarantees for a Lawn Care Services contract (DMS-25/26-009), detailing performance expectations and compliance measurements for a lawn maintenance service provider. The document outlines specific deliverables including mowing, trimming, edging, debris removal, weed control, fertilization, herbicide applications, mulching, irrigation management, and miscellaneous landscaping tasks. The contractor is required to perform services according to detailed specifications, with mowing frequency varying between weekly (May-October) and biweekly (November-April), and must maintain specific standards for landscape maintenance.
The performance standards include a rating system with three levels (Good, Fair, Poor) and corresponding financial penalties for non-compliance. For each deliverable, the contractor risks invoice deductions ranging from 5% to 35% if performance does not meet the specified standards. The Facility Manager must complete and submit a monthly summary report to the Contract Manager, documenting the contractor's performance. The document emphasizes precise maintenance requirements, such as maintaining mulch depth, managing irrigation systems, monitoring seasonal color beds, and ensuring proper tree branch maintenance, with a clear mechanism for ongoing performance evaluation and potential financial consequences for substandard work.
