About this file
This is a detailed specifications attachment (Attachment B Specifications #AS23-128) from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) Northeast Region Aquatics, seeking to purchase a camp trailer for aquatic field work. The project involves procuring a travel trailer, specifically targeting the Forest River R-Pod RP193 model or equivalent, to support field operations such as wild brood stock spawning, fisheries disease certifications, population surveys, and habitat enhancement projects. The trailer must sleep 3 people, be less than 25 feet long, have specific technical requirements including 3-season insulation, off-road tires, solar recharge capacity, a propane catalytic heater, dual power capabilities for appliances, and meet numerous other detailed specifications.
The procurement will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications, with payment structured as a single lump-sum final payment. The trailer is intended for use in mountainous and backcountry environments within 250 miles of Utah, with DWR staff responsible for transportation. Key requirements include a two-year warranty, specific water tank capacities, electronic jacks, stabilizer packages, and a minimum 1000 lbs gear capacity. The solicitation welcomes questions about floor plans and alternative specifications, with the ultimate goal of selecting a suitable camp trailer that meets the DWR's rigorous operational needs for field research and management activities.
