About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines elevator inspection services required at three National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) facilities in Missouri. The scope includes maintenance inspections and safety testing for 13 traction elevators and 2 chairlifts at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis; 4 hydraulic elevators at 3838 Vogel Road, Arnold; and 21 traction elevators and 8 hydraulic passenger elevators at 2301 Cass Avenue, St. Louis.
The contractor must perform physical inspections according to ASME A17.1 Elevator Code, reviewing equipment condition and code compliance while providing written reports within 30 days of completion. Services include annual no-load testing and five-year full load testing per detailed schedules, with specific requirements for freight elevator 13 and two chairlifts. The contractor must be accredited by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and hold Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) certification. Notable timing requirements include completing all inspections within 30 days of base year award and subsequent option years, with a planned closure of the 3200 South Second Street location in mid-2026 that will reduce the scope of services needed at that facility.
