About this file
The file is a proposal summary slide template for a DARPA funding opportunity called CoasterChase, which requires a specific PowerPoint format for grant submissions. The template mandates a comprehensive one-slide presentation covering technical approach, team organization, project milestones, cost per phase, and key innovation details, with strict formatting requirements including English language, 8-1/2 by 11-inch paper sizing, and minimum 12-point font.
The underlying grant opportunity seeks innovative research proposals focused on developing an ingestible, multimodal sensing and stimulation platform to monitor and modulate biomarkers of acute stress within the small intestine. Specifically targeting the enteric nervous system, the program aims to leverage emerging neuromodulation technologies to selectively target neurons. The research is part of DARPA's Research and Technology Development program (CFDA 12.910), which supports high-risk, high-reward research across scientific and technological domains, with potential funding ranging from $125,000 to nearly $15 million and performance periods of 9-36 months.
