About this file
This document includes a request for quotation (RFQ) from the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) seeking quotations for shipping and receiving clerk services. The RRB requires a contractor to provide shipping and receiving support services including sorting and delivering incoming folders, picking up and staging outgoing folders, receiving and delivering packages, and loading and unloading delivery trucks. The contract would be a one-year base period with four one-year options and cover services from 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. The RFQ includes a statement of objectives outlining the required services, performance standards, and quality assurance plan. Offerors must visit the RRB headquarters by April 19, 2023 and submit proposals in separate technical and price volumes by May 3, 2023. Proposals will be evaluated on project management approach, past performance, staff qualifications, and price, with technical factors more important than price.
