About this file
This document is an Attachment AC - Certification of American-Manufactured Goods for a solicitation by the Department of General Services (DGS), which requires bidders/offerors to certify the origin of goods being proposed in a contract or solicitation. The form provides two primary options: (1) certifying that all offered goods are American-manufactured, or (2) certifying that some or all goods are not American-manufactured, with additional sub-classifications for emergency life safety and property safety goods versus non-emergency goods.
The certification requires detailed documentation, including Form A for listing non-American manufactured emergency life safety and property safety goods, and Form B for listing non-American manufactured goods that are not emergency or safety related. Bidders must provide specific details including corresponding specification sections or drawing references and descriptions of the non-American manufactured goods. The document emphasizes transparency and requires an authorized representative's signature affirming the truthfulness of the information provided, in compliance with COMAR (Code of Maryland Regulations) 21.11.15.04 guidelines for American-manufactured goods certifications.
