About this file

This document is a Technical Requirements Matrix (TRM) for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) for Video Traffic Data Equipment and Data Processing Services, RFP Number R404-24. The RFP is seeking a qualified contractor to provide video traffic data camera units that can accurately monitor traffic movement, including pedestrians, bikes, and vehicle classifications, at large urban intersections and consistently high volume roadways. The camera units must be portable, able to be installed quickly by one person without specialized equipment, and capable of operating in all weather conditions for a minimum of 24 hours up to 7 days. Bidders must complete the TRM, indicating if they can meet each technical requirement or provide detailed explanations of any custom solutions or deviations.

The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the State of Nebraska and NDOT. The TRM does not provide specifics on pricing terms, set asides, incumbent contractors, funding requirements or sources, or contract term and renewal options. The scope of the project is focused on the technical capabilities of the video traffic data equipment required to support NDOT's traffic monitoring and data collection needs.
