2.1.5.4The system will use rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable batteries will have the ability to recharge while the system is in use and plugged into an outlet.B
2.1.5.4The system will automatically switch to battery power in the event of primary power loss (where primary to refers to the system plugged in to an outlet), while maintaining continuous operation of the system.B
2.1.5.4If necessary, the operator will be able to swap out the battery(ies) without power loss within 10 minutes, if applicable.B
2.1.5.4The rechargeable batteries will have the ability to be fully recharged to a 4-hour full power within 4 hours or less. The battery will have a battery-life indicator that tells the operator that the battery is fully charged. The battery –life indicator will tell the operator the percent of battery life.B
2.1.5.4The system will be designed to allow for a 5th percentile female through the 95th percentile male (as defined in MIL-STD-1472H) the ability to replace the battery(ies) as needed for operation, without the need for tools.A
