About this file

This is a technical attachment document (Attachment 9) for federal contract FA301025R0026, specifically detailing generator scope requirements for the MAHG23-1035 Repair Well #10 project at Building 7301, dated May 2, 2025, Revision 2.

The contractor must provide and install a complete generator system including a 150 KW standby generator with 480 VAC WYE output at 60 hertz, an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with NEMA 3R rating mounted outside Building 7301, and diesel tank components north of the generator. The work involves connecting the new generator to an existing 500-gallon diesel fuel tank, wiring the generator to the ATS and existing electrical systems, and performing mechanical/electrical demolition and installation per SOW drawings and specifications. Special requirements include extensive redundancy with dual components for critical systems: two fuel pumps with separate injection locations and fuel lines, oil sensors at separate locations, spark plugs at separate locations, fuel gauges and pressure indicators at separate locations, parallel fuel filters and valves, dual oil level sensors, engine block heaters, blowby stacks, voltage regulators that automatically switch between each other, air filters, anti-condensation heaters, vibration measurement sensors near bearings, and generator windings reporting from two separate locations. All sensors must report to two separate controllers, and the contractor must conduct a test run with manufacturer's representative as witness, maintain dust control throughout Building 7301, provide daily cleaning, and assume responsibility for any construction-related damage.
