About this file
This document provides guidance for Limited Access Requests (LARs) related to a facilities maintenance contract opportunity with the Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigation. The contract requires a complete facilities maintenance program to include building equipment maintenance and janitorial services at locations in West Point, NY and Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst.
The guidance outlines the process for contractors to submit LARs for their employees to gain escorted access, including completing an SF-85 security questionnaire, FD-857a non-disclosure form, and fingerprinting. Contractors must direct their employees to the specified fingerprint collection locations and submit the completed forms to the COR/POC to initiate background checks by the security office. The security office will adjudicate requests and notify the COR of approvals or denials, and upload documents to the Sentinel case management system. Approved individuals will be granted limited escorted access for contract performance.
