Wage Determination Summary

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for California County of Inyo (Wage Determination No. 2015-5669, Revision 29, effective 12/03/2025). The document establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits required for service contracts performed in this geographic area.

The wage determination covers 99 occupation codes across nine major occupational categories: Administrative Support and Clerical Occupations (01000 series), Automotive Service Occupations (05000 series), Food Preparation and Service Occupations (07000 series), Furniture Maintenance and Repair Occupations (09000 series), General Services and Support Occupations (11000 series), Health Occupations (12000 series), Information and Arts Occupations (13000 series), Information Technology Occupations (14000 series), Instructional Occupations (15000 series), and multiple additional occupational families. Wage rates range from $15.27 per hour for Messenger Courier positions to $71.63 per hour for Nuclear Medicine Technologist positions. All occupations listed receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour for Service Contract Act covered contracts also subject to Executive Order 13706 paid sick leave requirements. Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service (three weeks after five years, four weeks after 15 years), a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually, and applicable hazard pay differentials (8 percent for high-hazard positions, 4 percent for low-hazard positions). Special provisions apply to computer employees, air traffic controllers, weather observers, and positions requiring uniforms. Contractors must submit conformance requests using Standard Form 1444 for unlisted occupational classifications requiring wage determination prior to contract performance.
