About this file

Written by GovTribe AI ·

This document is an attachment to a Request for Proposals (RFP) by the FBI Finance and Facilities Division Procurement Section detailing patches and tailoring requirements for FBI Police uniforms. The document provides comprehensive specifications for various optional patches and embroidery additions, including FBI Police Shoulder Patches (standard and K9), Velcro Shoulder Patches, Screen Printed Badges, Hat Patches, Sergeant and Private First Class Chevrons, and Left Collar Embroidery. Each patch type includes precise dimensional specifications (typically around 2-4 inches), exact placement instructions (usually 1 inch below shoulder seam or centered on sleeve), and a detailed list of compatible uniform items from manufacturers like Blauer, First Tactical, Elbeco, and United Uniforms.

The patches come in multiple variations, such as standard Police, K9 Explosives, and Velcro-attachable versions, and can be applied to a wide range of uniform items including long and short sleeve tactical shirts, sweaters, polos, jackets, and headwear. The RFP emphasizes that these patches are optional additions to be sewn or attached to specific uniform products, with careful attention to placement and design details. Each patch features the FBI seal and Department of Justice insignia, predominantly in yellow and black color schemes, and is designed to be professionally integrated into the FBI Police uniform ensemble.
