About this file
This document is a set of Mechanical Design Requirements for a federal contract opportunity to replace Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes in the NPS Dorms at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. The 65% mechanical drawings should include details such as site plans, floor plans, equipment schedules, mechanical room sections, control diagrams, and design analysis narratives. The 95% drawings are expected to complete or correct any items missing from the 65% set. The 100% drawings will be sealed by a professional engineer. The overall project cost is between $5 million and $10 million, and the solicitation is being issued as a HUBZone set-aside. The agency involved is the Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command.
