About this file
This document is a Technical Questionnaire for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the state of California for General Transit Feed Specification - Realtime (GTFS-Realtime) Services Master Service Agreements. The RFP is seeking proposals from qualified firms to establish these Master Service Agreements for use by local governmental transit agencies in California. The term of the resulting MSAs will be for three (3) years, with options to extend for two (2) additional two (2) year periods. Bidders must provide details on the on-vehicle devices they propose to use, including brand, model, manufacturer part number, and certification status with various telecommunications networks.
The RFP also requires bidders to attach detailed specification sheets and supporting certification documentation for the proposed on-vehicle devices. Pricing information is to be submitted separately in the Cost Workbook. The RFP does not specify any set-asides or incumbent information, but does state that the funding and source are for use by local governmental transit agencies in California that operate public transportation services.
