About this file
This document outlines performance standards for a federal contract to provide comprehensive solid and medical waste management services at the National Institutes of Health campus. The contractor will be responsible for collection and disposal of solid waste, medical pathological waste, and recycling materials from buildings and exterior containers across the NIH campus on scheduled days. Performance will be evaluated on key criteria such as timely collection from dumpsters and containers, proper handling and treatment of medical waste, and responsiveness to service requests. The contractor can earn or lose points based on their ability to meet the acceptable quality levels for each performance standard, with total possible annual points of 100 that factor into contract award fees.
