About this file

This document is an attachment listing sustainable products for janitorial services at the Rochester Ranger District Administrative Sites for the Green Mountain National Forest. The list specifies biobased and environmentally friendly products required for janitorial operations, including all-purpose cleaners, disinfectant sprays, glass cleaners, spot/stain removers, floor polish, hand soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, bath tissue, and trash can liners.

The document outlines two primary sources for procuring these sustainable products: the USDA BioPreferred Program Catalog and GSA Advantage!. The USDA catalog allows companies with biobased products meeting minimum content criteria to be listed with product details and company website information. GSA Advantage! is described as the federal government's online shopping platform, offering access to millions of commercial products with negotiated pricing, and enables specific searches for "BioPreferred" environmental products.
