2.3. Main Pumps (6):

2.3.1. Once the pumps and pipes are properly leveled and stable, install motors with both motor and pump shafts aligned and coupled. Verify the installation is plumb, shafts aligned and perform an unpowered rotational check of the installation. If the installation check is good, install power and control wiring along with the lubrication systems and monitoring systems. Test each pump/motor systems with power to verify alignment and operation is good and that the lubrication and monitoring systems are functioning correctly. This testing will be performed with contractor furnished generator power. (See Attachment 10 describing prior contractor’s attempts to achieve the required levelness of the pumps and motors. As shown in the attached documents, no specific defect was identified with Government Furnished Equipment, nor was the actual cause of the unlevelness of the pumps determined. As such, these documents are provided for information only and do not constitute a representation on the part of the Government of any specific actions required or specific site conditions.)

2.4. Support Equipment:

2.4.1. For the flow vault, install any missing equipment in the flow vault. Repair/replace any defective equipment.

P8B.

2.4.4. Install missing gate and valve power, control, and instrumentation wiring and verify proper operation.

2.4.5. Install missing heat trace and repair/replace any heat trace not in good working order.

2.4.6. Install any missing fire alarm system components and repair/replace any existing components as necessary. Verify proper operation.

2.4.7. Repair/Replace PLC for overhead crane.

2.5. Control System:

2.5.1. Complete the existing programmable control system, including PLCs, displays, programming, sensors and related items. Repair/replace any existing components, including software/firmware, that are defective or insufficient for the application.

2.5.2. Complete the lightning protection system on the mezzanine level. Correct any deficiencies in the existing lightning protection system.

2.6. Complete all items of work and correct all identified and discovered deficiencies in
