About this file
This document is a quick entry guide for conducting Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 self-assessments through the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) Version 4.0, managed by the Naval Security Logistics Command (NSLC) Portsmouth.
The guide provides step-by-step instructions for users with the "SPRS Cyber Vendor User" role to access, enter, and manage CMMC assessment information. Users must first obtain PIEE access through https://www.sprs.csd.disa.mil/access.htm, then navigate to the SPRS application via the PIEE landing page (https://piee.eb.mil), select the Cyber Reports module, and choose their company hierarchy from the dropdown menu. To add a new assessment, users select "Add New Level 1 CMMC Self-Assessment" within the CMMC Assessments tab and enter assessment details including assessment date, assessing scope, employee count, and confirmation of compliance with security requirements in RFO clause 52.240-93. The assessment must be transferred to an Affirming Official (AO)—the senior level representative responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with CMMC Program requirements—who reviews and affirms the assessment by certifying they have read the affirmation statement. Final Level 1 Self-Assessments automatically expire after one year and become "No CMMC Status (Expired Assessment)" unless renewed. Only Final Level 1 Self-Assessment status types are visible to Government Personnel. Cyber Vendor Users may edit or delete certain CMMC Status Types, and CAGE hierarchies are imported from the System for Award Management (SAM).
