About this file
The file is an Appendix A Cost Breakdown template for a construction project roof repair solicitation (Solicitation Number: FA302225R0003) issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command. The solicitation seeks a contractor to perform a complete roof replacement for Building 847, with an estimated procurement value between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The cost breakdown template provides sections for detailed pricing documentation, including bonds and insurance, mobilization, architecture and engineering design stages, materials, equipment, labor hours, and miscellaneous charges. Key procedural requirements include mandatory CUI training, completion of a contractor training acknowledgment form, and a site visit on Thursday, April 24, 2025, which requires pre-registration by Monday, April 21, 2025. All additional Request for Information (RFI) submissions must be received by Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST. The roof replacement work must comprehensively address water leaks by replacing standing seam components, insulation, gutter systems, roof curbing, fascia, and soffit.

| The purpose of the requested information in the attached worksheets is to assist government personnel in the review and evaluation of proposals submitted by offerors. Offerors are reminded that the responsibility for providing adequate supporting data and attachments lies solely with them. Further, the offeror must also bear the burden of proof in establishing reasonableness of proposed pricing; therefore, it is in the offeror’s best interest to submit a fully supportable and well-prepared cost proposal. The basis and rationale for all proposed costs should be provided as part of the proposal so that Government personnel can place reliance on the information as current, complete and accurate. Further, FAR 15.403-4 sets forth those circumstances in which offerors are required to submit certified cost or pricing data. (Updated Nov. 19, 2013) |
