About this file
This document is a detailed specification for an electrical lighting upgrade project for the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The project involves comprehensive electrical and lighting system modifications, specifically focusing on the LCIC (Location) Lighting Electrical Project, with a project number of 1240LU21F0066 located in Great Falls, Montana. The specification covers multiple technical divisions including electrical requirements, lighting controls, wiring devices, panelboards, and LED lighting, with a strong emphasis on wireless lighting control solutions using Crestron electronics.
The project scope includes installing new lighting fixtures, lighting control systems, electrical infrastructure components, and associated hardware. Key technical specifications mandate use of LED lighting with 50,000-hour fixture life, wireless control devices with 128-bit encryption, and compatibility with BACnet/IP systems. The lighting control system features include scene creation, time clock functionality, occupancy sensing, and integration capabilities with audio/visual systems. The specification also emphasizes seismic performance requirements, energy efficiency standards, and comprehensive warranty provisions, with most components carrying a five-year warranty. The total project magnitude is estimated between $500,000 to $1,000,000, with all questions due by September 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM MDT.
