SECTION C – DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATIONS

C.1 PROJECT SCOPE

a. Description:

This project is for replacement of interior lighting fixtures and controls serving the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls Montana. All existing lighting systems are out of date.

The Gift Shop, Lobby, and Bathrooms on the main level will remain open to the public during construction. All other areas will be closed for construction. Contractor shall provide signs, barricades, traffic control, and/or any other necessary systems to ensure public safety during construction.

Contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, tools, etc. necessary to complete the work. All waste and excess materials generated from construction shall be disposed of off Forest Service lands and in compliance with governing federal, state, and local laws.

b. Location: (See attached Map) Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center 4201 Giant Springs Road Great Falls, MT 59405

c. Period of Performance: Contractor allowed 60 consecutive calendar days to complete the work between the months of January 1, 2027 to March 31, 2027. Contractor shall notify CO 30 calendar days before starting work.

NOTE: Work to be performed after LCIC Exhibit Updates contract is complete. If exhibit work is completed earlier, the 60 day construction window may be shifted between the months of October 1-March 31.

d. Pre-Bid Tour: No Pre-Bid Tour is scheduled for this project. Prospective bidders are responsible to visit the site prior to bidding.

e. Price Range: $0 - $1,000,000
