About this file
This document outlines training requirements for two Expeditionary Medical Decontamination Training courses. The training will be provided over one week in two separate three-day classes, with each class consisting of didactic instruction, hands-on training, and a capstone exercise. The capstone exercise will require teams of 19 students to assemble decontamination equipment and demonstrate operational capability within set timeframes while decontaminating simulated patients. Feedback will be provided and discussed. The solicitation seeks a contractor to develop, deliver, validate and conduct the EMDT training for multiple Air Force locations in support of ACC/SGXT. The curriculum will cover all tasks listed in the EMDT Tactical Training Plan and Initial Course Chart. Training is designed to educate Air Force medical personnel on skills for CBRN decontamination and saving victims in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines.
