Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, establishing prevailing wage rates for service contracts in South Dakota counties of Custer, Meade, and Pennington under Wage Determination No. 2015-5367 (Revision 31, dated 5/13/2026).
The wage determination lists over 150 occupational classifications with corresponding hourly wage rates ranging from $12.27 to $50.38. Occupations span multiple industry sectors including administrative support, accounting, customer service, data entry, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, and technical occupations. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, or $222.00 per week/$962.00 per month) or $5.89 per hour under Executive Order 13706 ($283.60 per week/$882.27 per month). The determination incorporates provisions for paid sick leave, vacation, holidays (minimum eleven annually), hazardous pay differentials (4% and 8%), night pay and Sunday pay for air traffic controllers and weather observers, and uniform allowances. Conformance procedures are established via SF-1444 forms for occupations not listed or requiring wage adjustment, with defined timelines for contractor submission, agency review, and final determination by the Wage and Hour Division.
