Delivery Schedule: Alfalfa Hay
1. Shipping Destination (F.O.B. Destination)
The shipment shall be delivered to the following address:
Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory
243 Fort Keogh Road
Miles City, MT 59301
2. Delivery Notification & Approval
3-Day Notice: The Contractor must notify the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) at least three (3) workdays before the scheduled deliveries.
Required Info: Notification must include the carrier’s name and the total tonnage to be delivered.
Approval: The COR reserves the right to reschedule the delivery dates based on the availability of personnel to unload the shipment.
3. Delivery Timing
Standard Window: Delivery must occur between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (MST), Monday through Friday.
Holiday/Weekend Exception: In an emergency, delivery may be requested for a weekend or holiday, provided the Contractor notifies the COR by the preceding Friday or the last workday before the holiday.
Contractor shall deliver 62 tons per day according to schedule below (assumes 2 semi loads per day with 48 bales per load and bales averaging 1300 lbs.).

4. Weight Verification & Documentation
State Certified Tickets: Tonnage must be established at the Contractor's facility prior to transit.
Load Identification: The load must be identified by a State Certified HEAVY weight ticket number.
On-Site Verification: A copy of the State Certified Weight Ticket must be handed to the COR upon arrival at the destination for final written confirmation of tonnage.
5. Unloading Procedures
Site Support: Facility personnel will provide the equipment and labor at the delivery site to offload and stack the bales from the truck.
Location: The shipment will be offloaded directly into the designated hay yards.
