About this file

This is a Snow Plowing Check-off Sheet template (revised January 2023) that establishes procedures and documentation requirements for snow removal contractor mobilizations at an academy facility.

The contractor must follow four primary procedural requirements: (1) check in at the main gate upon arrival, logging actual arrival time and number of plow trucks deployed; (2) clear and treat the Child Development Center and Deshon Street Gate 1 hour prior to anticipated base opening; (3) clear and treat the Flagpole parking area prior to 0730 AM and at sunset; and (4) provide a completed check-off sheet to the Academy Snow Removal Officer or designated representative before departure. The check-off sheet requires initialing to confirm completion of plowing, clearing, and treating services across 20 specified areas, including all main roads and parking lots identified in Technical Exhibit 1, Chase Hall Center Quad area, U-Lot parking, various loading docks (Chase B Galley, Michel Hall, Chase C, Johnson Hall), garage doors and parking areas (Hamilton Hall, Billard, MCOE), Housing Units back roads and garage parking, two Lower Base Railroad Crossings, Boiler Plant parking areas, Munro Parking Circle, Cadet Memorial Field (when applicable), and Access Gates. The template includes fields for recording the date, arrival time, number of drivers on-site with individual arrival times, and time of completion. Critical operational constraints include not blocking trash hauler access to dumpsters and not piling snow around access gates.
