Work shall be performed Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, with equipment and materials delivered to 3225 College Avenue, Davie, Florida 33314. The contractor must verify all dimensions and site conditions prior to work commencement, maintain a foreman on-site at all times, keep work areas clean daily, consult with the government before beginning each work phase, ensure minimal disruption to facility operations and research activities, and present personnel in a neat appearance with company identification. A government representative will inspect and approve work performed weekly. The contractor is responsible for repairing or replacing any damage to government buildings or utilities caused by contractor activities.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Background
• Remove and replace 3 ton and 4 ton both units are in the B003
• Both units are not working properly and are expensive to maintain and are producing issues with the ventilation system by producing water and damaging the ceiling and creating an unsafe work environment.
• Includes, as necessary, a summary of statutory authority or applicable regulations
Objectives
• Vendor will furnish all labor, materials, and supplies to perform the following work for U.S. Department of Agriculture, Invasive Plant Research Lab, 3225 College Ave Ft. Lauderdale FL 33314.
• Remove and replace Mitsubishi mini split with like 3-Ton unit, remove 4-Ton split system and replace with mini split. Remove old ductwork and replace damaged ceiling tiles. Cover and seal holes from old unit.
• Dispose of all old equipment
Scope
• Covers the general scope of the work the contractor will be performing.
Tasks or Requirements
• Remove and replace 3-Ton Mitsubishi
• Remove 4-Ton split and associated ductwork and replace with ductless mini split
• Insulate suction lines.
• Re-do electric to feed new 4-Ton.
• Replace damaged ceiling tiles.
• Cover and seal holes.
• Dispose of old equipment.
• Test units for proper operation.
Deliverables or Delivery Schedule
• The contractor shall perform contractual services to the USDA/ARS on Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30AM to 4:00PM.
• Equipment or material shall be delivered to 3225 collage Ave Davie FL 33314 and received by Lexa Greenley f Allen Dray Jr
• Work shall be completed by July 30, 2026
• Identifies the type of documentation (printed and electronic) to be provided, as well as those quality indicators desired by the Government
Contractor Responsibility Contractor will verify all dimensions and site conditions prior to beginning work.
Contractor will perform the work as listed in the above outlined Base Bid.
Contractors shall keep work areas clean daily and take measures to control debris while work is being performed.
Contractors are required to manage the project and consult with the Government prior to beginning all work phases. And, to work in a manner that minimizes the impact of the work on Government operations, research, and functions.
All work must be performed in such a manner as to not adversely affect daily operations of the facility, its workers, and the onsite facility operations.
Contractor must always have a Foreman on the job while working on this project.
The Government will give contractor access to the buildings serviced weekly per base bid Contractor personnel shall present a neat appearance and be easily recognized. This may be accomplished by wearing clothing bearing the name of the company or by wearing an appropriate badge containing the company name and employee name. Additionally, employees shall be fully attired.
Damage to Property Any damage to the Government buildings, utilities, etc. caused as the result of the contractor’s activities shall be repaired or replaced to the satisfaction of the Government.
Inspection and Acceptance A government representative shall inspect weekly and approve the work performed on this contract.
