About this file
This Salient Characteristics Sheet details a golf cart procurement for Joint Base Andrews for the 2025 Air Show. The requirement is for 102 total golf carts across four configurations: 71 standard two-seat carts, 16 four-seat golf carts, 12 six-seat golf carts, and 3 utility/cargo golf carts. All golf carts must be fuel-powered and delivered to Joint Base Andrews with a full tank of fuel.
The golf carts will serve multiple functions during the Air Show, including transporting people across short to mid-distances, managing installation traffic and congestion, providing special transport for Distinguished Visitors, and supporting Air Show workers. Utility golf carts specifically will be used by medical teams to transport personnel and supplies between first aid stations and fire stations. Each golf cart allocation has been justified by the 316th Wing and Air Show Staffs, who consider these vehicles critical for safely and efficiently executing the Air Show event.
