About this file
This document outlines the scope of work for an electrical renovation project at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The project involves renovating an existing building to accommodate new office spaces for the Criminal Investigative Division. Work includes upgrading interior and exterior lighting to LED fixtures, installing new electrical panels and wiring, and running conduit and cabling for closed-circuit television cameras, intrusion detection systems, and voice/data lines to various rooms. Specific lighting levels, power receptacle placements, and telecommunications outlet counts are defined for each room. Electrical and lighting load calculations are provided. The project will be completed through the Fort Wainwright Job Order Contract program by the local Department of Public Works following 35% design by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The related federal contract opportunity is a multiple award task order contract to acquire real property repair, maintenance, and minor construction services for Army installations in Alaska under the Directorate of Public Works, Alaska. Offerors are advised to review the solicitation attachments for additional requirement details. The contracting agency is the U.S. Department of the Army.
