About this file
This document is Attachment 2, which specifies tabletop layout requirements for four distinct airfield and military training scenarios. Each tabletop must measure 72" x 30" and incorporate a magnetic surface to allow 3D printed pieces to attach securely. All tabletops require realistic terrain representation and must be designed in sections for disassembly and easy transport.
Tabletops #1, #2, and #3 depict specific airfield layouts based on aerial reference imagery. Tabletop #1 shows a remote airfield with dual parallel runways and minimal support structures. Tabletop #2 presents a larger, developed airfield facility with multiple parallel runways, taxiways, parking aprons, and various support buildings. Tabletop #3 represents Henry Post Army Airfield, featuring a single runway with associated taxiways, parking areas, and surrounding residential and commercial infrastructure. Tabletop #4 is a tent city layout where 3D printed tents serve as movable elements that students can position and reconfigure according to training scenarios or instructor direction. This tabletop includes realistic terrain with multiple tent configurations and support infrastructure. All four tabletops are intended for instructional or training purposes requiring flexible, portable, and visually accurate military facility representations.
