About this file

This document is an Attachment to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) for the procurement of a Fiberglass Medium Size Center Console Patrol Boat. The RFQ outlines the administrative requirements, including the bidder's experience, descriptive literature, drawings, workmanship standards, and manufacturer's plate requirements. It also details the State's options for unanticipated tasks and upgrades, which are limited to 10% of the bid amount. A pre-construction conference and sea trials are required prior to delivery. The boat must be delivered within 365 days of the purchase order, with the option for an extension. Delivery will be to the CDFW San Luis Obispo Field Office, and the boat will undergo a thorough inspection upon arrival. The document also specifies the resolution process should the boat fail to meet the State's standards, as well as the required manuals, warranties, and registration documents to be provided by the contractor.

The RFQ does not provide any details on pricing terms, funding sources, or incumbent information. It focuses solely on the technical and administrative requirements for the procurement of the patrol boat.
