About this file

This is a Technical Specification Sheet for a Shuttlelift SL200II Gantry Crane to be delivered to Holloman Air Force Base (AFB), New Mexico.

The crane must feature an inside clear height of 35 feet and inside clear width of 30 feet with a minimum lift capacity of 180 tons, specifically engineered to transport heavy concrete target blocks meeting HHSTT (Holloman High Speed Test Track) specifications. The equipment shall include a 3% or higher gradeability under full load, a closed-loop hydrostatic drive system with all-wheel steering and all-wheel drive, and a 2-speed hoist system with a large-diameter grooved drum. Hydraulic systems must incorporate quick-connect test ports, full-flow filtration, O-ring face seal fittings, powder-coated carbon steel tubing, and heavy-duty Cordura hose covers. The crane requires an enclosed, weather-sealed operator cab with HVAC, Level 1 sound suppression, four directional travel alarms with strobe lights, and an integrated fire extinguisher. Electrical systems shall include integrated remote diagnostics with real-time hydraulic monitoring, DC-LED work lights, and full-function wireless remote control. Deliverables include one spare wheel and tire assembly, one year of replacement hydraulic/engine/air filters, and one custom-designed spreader bar assembly with OEM-certified data plate.

The contractor must provide complete turn-key assembly and installation at Holloman AFB with post-assembly acceptance testing, load capacity certification, gradeability verification, hands-on operator training, and service/maintenance certification courses. A two-year comprehensive warranty covers structural, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The contract includes an annual preventive maintenance program with fully burdened, flat-rate pricing incorporating all labor, travel, lodging, meals, and consumables, plus a just-in-time spares support program guaranteeing dispatch of critical parts within 24 hours and delivery to Holloman AFB within 48 hours. Optional equipment includes a spare custom spreader bar and a multi-camera vision system. Additional requirements address Class I ozone-depleting substance elimination, health and safety standards on government installations, contractor base access protocols, and identification badge procedures.
