Summary of Work (SOW)

07 May 2026
Part 1
General Information
1. General: This is a non-personal service(s) contract under which the personnel rendering the service(s) are not subject, either by the contract’s terms or by the manner of its administration, to the supervision and control usually prevailing in relationships between the Government and its employees. Personnel rendering services shall be accountable to the contract employer, who in turn shall be responsible to the Government.
1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide and install an interior door to replace the existing door and frame at building 3440, Fort Sill, OK.
1.2 Background: The 75th Field Artillery Brigade Headquarters, located in Building 3440, has experienced significant wear to its existing interior metal doors due to age, high daily traffic, and repeated use during administrative and operational activities. The current doors no longer meet functional or aesthetic standards for a brigade-level headquarters facility and have become increasingly difficult to maintain. Additionally, the existing metal doors limit visibility into office spaces, which affects both safety and workflow efficiency. Replacing these doors with modern wood doors featuring integrated glass panels will improve durability, enhance natural visibility, and align the facility with current Army workspace standards. This upgrade supports the brigade’s ongoing efforts to maintain a professional, safe, and functional administrative environment.
1.3 Scope: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment and materials to remove and replace the existing Northeast Command Entrance Door to include hardware, frame and glazing. Contractor shall be responsible for finishing, and installation of a new solid Sherwood (or equal to) door, commercial-grade hardware, insulated laminated glazing, and two side-lite glass panels. Contractor shall ensure that all refuse and debris is cleaned up and removed from the sight as part of the replacement requirement.
