About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the U.S. Department of Agriculture's requirements for procuring five Clipper Eclipse 324 seed processing machines for the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) National Nursery System. The machines will support forest seed cleaning and processing operations, with specific delivery requirements to five different nursery and seed extractory locations across the United States: Lucky Peak Nursery (Idaho), Toumey Nursery (Michigan), Bessey Nursery (Nebraska), Placerville Nursery (California), and Bend Seed Extractory (Oregon).
Each Clipper Eclipse 324 machine must meet detailed specifications, including a 324 square inch screen area, three-layer screening, built-in fan for dust removal, 1 HP motor, and powder-coated steel frame. Delivery timelines range from December 15, 2025 to March 15, 2025, with each machine to be fully operational and inspected upon delivery. The project aims to increase the efficiency and capacity of the USFS reforestation pipeline by providing specialized seed processing equipment manufactured by A.T. Ferrell Company in Bluffton, Indiana.
