About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details maintenance services for ozone depuration systems at the Northwest Fisheries Science Center's Manchester Research Station and Burley Creek Hatchery, which are critical for treating effluent water for endangered Snake River Sockeye Salmon. The contract requires a qualified contractor to provide annual preventive maintenance, unscheduled repairs, and potential system upgrades for two separate ozone systems at each location. Specific equipment includes ozone units, chiller units, oxygen concentrators, air compressors, and ORP probes, with each site having a redundant backup system. The performance period is 12 months with two 12-month option periods, and services must comply with Clean Water Act and NPDES permit regulations. Work will be performed during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday), with the contractor expected to respond to repair requests within 72 hours and perform comprehensive system testing after each service visit.
