Statement of Work (SOW) For

479 FTG Vent and Duct Cleaning

27 Aug 20

Ref: (a) Not applicable

A. Introduction and Background

The 479 FTG occupies several buildings located on NAS Pensacola. Each building has its own unique HVAC layout, to include ducting and vents. Some buildings are occupied by both 479 FTG personnel and US Navy personnel, while others are solely occupied by 479 FTG USAF personnel. While the current base contract allows for PM to be done on these HVAC systems, there is no contract to conduct cleaning of the ducting and vents for these systems. Some of these buildings are quite old and even those that are a decade old have no record of ever having their vents and ducting cleaned.

B. Scope

The 479 FTG requires ducting and vent cleaning of the following buildings: 646, 746, 4148 and 4149 (office spaces only). The following buildings are shared with the USN and require duct and vent cleaning only within the 479 FTG (USAF) occupied spaces:

1852 and 3260.

Bldg 646 – 110 West Av, NAS Pensacola, FL, 32508 Bldg 746 – 520 Turner St, NAS Pensacola, FL, 32508 Bldg 1852 – 280 Skyhawk Dr, NAS Pensacola, FL 32508 Bldg 3260 – 740 San Carlos Rd, NAS Pensacola, FL, 32508 Bldg 4148 – 311 San Carlos Rd, NAS Pensacola, FL, 32508 Bldg 4149 – 860 San Carlos Rd, NAS Pensacola, FL, 32508

C. Objectives

1) To improve health and safety of all 479 FTG personnel working within these spaces.

2) To help ensure the longevity, quality and effectiveness of these air delivery systems.

D. Tasks/Requirements

Contract for duct and vent cleaning shall include vacuuming and wiping of entire surface of all vents, as well as applicable soot and antimicrobial sprays within the entire duct system for the above listed AF occupied 479 FTG spaces. Work must be conducted outside of normal weekday duty hours (0700‐1800) and on weekends, to not impact the daily training and operations of the 479 FTG.

E. Deliverables

Once purchased, this will be for a ONE time cleaning of the above listed buildings within the 479 FTG.

F. Project Objectives and Milestones (POAM) or Project Timeline by Tasks (Subject to Revision)

Once the purchase is funded, the cleaning will commence immediately to be completed within 6 WEEKS.
