STATEMENT OF WORK

WALTER MINER LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER

5 YEAR INSPECTION

SCOPE OF WORK

The Walter Miner Law Enforcement Center requires a 5-year inspection of the wet system fire sprinkler system including replacing gaskets, and air/water gauges. This is a corrections facility that detains juvenile and adult inmates, both short & long term. This is a life, health, and safety system that requires maintenance.

Walter Miner Law Enforcement Center 2105 Willow Street Eagle Butte, SD 57625

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

Work must be completed within 30 days of award.

WARRANTY

All materials and workmanship used in this project shall be warrantied for a period of not less than but not limited to one (1) year (or extended by manufacturer’s warranty) from the date of acceptance. The work shall be performed by a contractor who regularly engages in the business of assembly and installation of such equipment as stated in this statement of work.

CONTRACTOR USE OF PREMISES

The contractor shall limit its use of the premises to the work indicated, so as to allow for tenant occupancy and use. During the entire construction period, the Contractor shall coordinate the use of the premises for construction operations with the Cheyenne River Agency, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Facility Management.

The project site will be open to the contractor from Monday through Friday, with the exception of federal holidays, for the duration of the project. The project schedule is to be based on a normal 40-hour work week. The contractor shall establish a normal work week schedule for the duration of the project.

TRIBAL CONTACTS AND TERO REQUIREMENTS

Contractor is required to pay tribal taxes and licensing fees.

For contractor’s taxes the contractor will contact the TERO Program at (605) 964-8376.

For Environmental taxes the contractor will contact the CRST Finance Department at (605) 964-8344.

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST) requires that businesses operating on the reservation attain and maintain a tribal business license. The vendor and their subcontractor(s) shall be responsible for complying with these requirements. Licensing is governed by the CRST Revenue Department.
