1 SCOPE

These specifications define the required functionality of hoses and nozzles, considering factors such as flow rate, water pressure, nozzle types (e.g., fog, straight stream, adjustable), and compatibility with existing fire apparatus and equipment in use. Clear specifications are required for the size, material, and construction of hoses and nozzles to ensure durability, reliability, and performance under various operating conditions. Compatibility testing may be necessary to verify interoperability with existing equipment already in use.
